Scream-A-Geddon Makes You Scream Again

Scream-A-Geddon returns again for 2022 and it is pack full of scares. Every year the brains behind this scare park are always seeking ways to improve it and has happened again. I really enjoyed it my time as guests of Scream-A-Geddon and thinking of going again with some friends.

With every scare park there are the haunted houses. If the haunted houses do not scare you, then it is a failure before it even starts. I went through every house alone and I determine how good it is based upon 3 factors:

1. Are the scare actors really into it.

2. How many times did they really get me.

3. How loud are the screams of the others in the same house.

I will be rating everything with a score of 1 to 5 screams (5 being the scariest)

Rage 3D (3 1/2 Screams) — One of the original houses that has survived through the years and it does with good reason. This house has you put on the 3D goggles before you enter to make sure everything is right in your face. Misdirection and the unexpected are necessary in a scare situation and this house has it. If you fear clowns though, then be sure Rage 3D has a perfect 5 screams.

Ravenhill Asylum (3 Screams) — This site changes themes every couple of years, but one theme stays the same. It is an interactive house. I had a lot of fun through this house versus getting scared. The interactiveness really made it worth it though. If you need dental work done, this house is the one to visit.

Bloodwater Bayou (3 1/2 Screams) — The trail through the woods has really been the most improved house over the past few years and I really enjoy it now from year to year. The house manages to keep its origins as a trail but increasing the unpredictability of the scares with its structures that has been built. This has always been a last to visit and has now moved up the list.

Demon’s Revenge (4 1/2 Screams) — Hands down my favorite house that is always adding through the years. The last room just outright freaks me out and did no less this year also. This is the must-see house in your trip to Scream-A-Geddon if you want to get your scare on.

Blackpool Prison (4 Screams) — The other interactive house. This could be one of the best experiences through the night or a ho-hum experience. It really depends on the scare actors to make or break this house. This evening they really made it. I even gained friends through my excursion since no one should have to survive in prison alone.

Like previous years, Zombie Paintball Assault as an upgrade experience in the park. It really is a lot of fun unloading the paint balls on targets through the woods. If you can afford it, this attraction is well worth enjoying.

Bonzo’s Beer Garden does return for a wide selection of craft brews and seasonal offerings. NEW this year is the Monster Midway Food Court. Food trucks were invited to feed the poor souls who choose to challenge the scares of Scream-A-Geddon. Food Trucks include Vato’s Tacos, Wild Pines Pizza, Sunkissed Sweets, and Oh My Grill!! (My Favorite).

Also in the Monster Midway you will encounter roaming creatures throughout the night, have many opportunities for photo ops, a place to throw an axe, or win a prize by having perfect aim to a toilet. Finally, the merchandise stand!!!!!
