Jurassic World Live: 65 Million Years of Awesome

Jurassic World Live premiered in Tampa last evening in Amalie Arena. This show is billed as 65 Million years in the making. After watching the show I am proud to give it high ratings. This was surely an incredible show in all ways and I look forward to seeing it again or the next story that evolves from it.

Jurassic World live starts right before the Indominus Rex wrecking havoc at the end of Jurassic World. The story then picks up in full after the evacuation of the island, but before the events that take place in the second movie of the franchise. It centers around an original dinosaur named Jeannie. a Troodon. Kate Walker is the protagonist and she has a special relationship with Jeannie and the show explores that relationship with the adventures that ensues during the show.

There is a nice support cast with villains and heroes. Of course Jurassic World would not be complete without an appearance of the famed Tyrannosaurus Rex. The favorite raptor Blue also plays an important part of the show. The real nice thing of Jurassic World Live is that it falls right in place between the two movies of the Jurassic World franchise without disturbing a thing in the story and character development.

There is a lot of action sequences very similar to Marvel Universe Live, which is also brought to light by Feld Entertainment. The nice thing is that for the most part, the action is not overused unless it is pertinent to the story that is developing. I was very surprised at how transfixed I was. I also saw that it is a family friendly show. There were a lot of younger children in the crowd and the minimal violence present did not seem to have any negative effect in any way. It was pure entertainment.

I highly recommend seeing Jurassic World Live on it’s final two jurassicworldlivetour.com for locations and tickets to see if it is coming to a city near you.
