As a local to the Tampa Bay area, Halloween is a Huge event. To myself, it is like Christmas. So many attractions and haunts to visit to see who will pull off the ultimate scare. 2015 brings in a start of a new era for scares in the Tampa Bay area. On Sep 25th Scream-A-Geddon will debut. This new scare park will feature 6 terrifying attractions including a Monster Midway spread out over 60 acres of Old Florida Forest.

Johnathan Pianki,, the marketing director for Scream-A-Geddon, says “SCREAM-A-GEDDON is a brand new type of horror park that Central Florida has never experienced before. Simply put, words can’t describe the terror within.” He also added that  “It truly needs to be experienced in order to be believed.”  

What makes this any different than any other park with haunted houses in it? Well, Mark Bremer, the creative Director at Scream-A-Geddon,  answered that question saying that “Being an independent Halloween horror park allows us to stretch the boundaries of what customers have come to expect at the more ‘corporate’ Halloween attractions in the Tampa Bay and Orlando areas. Victims who want a more interactive, intimate and terrifying haunted experience will be thrilled when our facility opens this fall.”  I myself like that word “interactive” and “thrilled.”

Scream-A-Geddon opens on Sep 25th and will be open on select nights through Nov. 1rst. Scream-A-Geddon is located in Dade City at 27839 Saint Joe Rd.
