Circus Wonderland is in Sarasota under the big top for the 2026 holiday season. The short way of reviewing this show is that is emotional, inspirational, and sensational. That is just for Nik Wallenda and his family on the high wire. The rest of the circus is entertaining and outright fun to watch.

Circus Wonderland comes to the big top featuring Sarasota high-wire star and producer Nik Wallenda. Also featured alongside of him also is his sister Erendira Vazquez Wallenda, a high-wire star. What is really significant about this act is that this is the first time the Wallenda family has performed on this property since the horrific fall back in 2017 that seriously hurt many of his family. Nik Wallenda and his sister Erendira did not shy away from this whatsoever. They both had a moment talking about that day that managed to bring silence and sadness to the big top. Followed by inspiration that any human being could have found through their words of recovering physically and mentally. Special accolades to Erendira, who almost died from the fall, to face this arena and perform for the crowds as she was born to do and loves to do.

The circus also featured top notch acts such as Alan Silva, a silks aerialist that finished in 5th place on America’s Got Talent and 8-year-old Olesia Kucherinko, who demonstrated her skills on her hand balancing and showing the crowds of her entertaining future for many years to come. The host for this edition’s circus is Ty McFarlan and backed by comic Johnny Rockett.

There is much to see and do at Circus Wonderland with numerous Christmas theme photo ops inside and around the big top. I can be fair to say there is something for all ages this year and a show I would highly recommend seeing.

The Circus has deep roots and tradition in the Sarasota area, and Circus Wonderland and Nik Wallenda did not disappoint in this year’s presentation in living up to that reputation. Tickets can be purchased at Wonderland Circus, both online and in person at their box office. The big top is located behind UTC mall and the new Mote Marina. They will have performances through the New Year through Jan 4rth. Plenty of time to allow a performance in anyone’s schedule through the holidays.
