A Busch Gardens Christmas Tale
A BUSCH GARDENS CHRISTMAS TALE OF 2019
Twas the night before Christmas, the darkness did come.
Not a creature was stirring, as the guests were not done.
The stockings were all hung, in the gift shops around,
As Christmastown came alive. And the music got loud.
At the entrance to the park, by the towering tree,
60 years of Busch Gardens, and many more to all’s glee.
The lines do get larger, for a ticket they all wait,
Except for passholders, whom walk straight through the gate.
The moon shining above, not a cloud in our sight.
The park brightly lit, by the Christmastown lights.
The feet did so move, on the trails through the park,
Guided at a serene pace, as if an angel did hark.
Pass the nutcrackers we do, where the cheetahs do roam,
As Cheetah Hunt launches, it’s triple boost zoom.
The music I do hear, by the Serengetti plains,
Tis the Carol of the Bells, louder than incoming trains.
The Ice princess we see, where it is not even cold,,
To greet all the children, both young and the old.
The Moroccan Palace we are, in a very short wait,
To see Christmas on Ice, where they gracefully skate.
The Falcon’s Fury doeth drop, in Pantopia it’s told,
To the smells of the pretzels, which soon we will hold.
It’s The Most Wonderful Time, in the Dragon Fire Grille,
With the pianos and the singing, the entire room it does fill.
Do I hear the voice of gospel, with a merry warm sound,
It is Christmas From the Heart, in Stanleyville I have found.
Tigris roaring next door, it’s circular path it doeth go,
A perfect place to stop, with some hot chocolate we toast,
Sesame Street I approach, with Elmo on my mind,
To hear of his wish, with not a concern of the time.
But to my eyes do they go, the sky above me up high,
I see a strange flicker of light, or a redness that doeth fly.
Knowing not what it is, as it crosses through the night,
But it turns to Busch Gardens, letting us all see the sight.
A laughter than is heard, by all that are gathered outside,
Can it be the one and only, a hat and boots that are tight.
A path magically appears, to let the light come and so land,
In Luminosity Lane, a beacon reaching out to his hand.
There are gasps and applause, as the landing is near,
Led by a jolly fat man, and his team of reindeer.
Hold Dasher, whoah Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen,
You too Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen.
Rudoph has brought us to, the most joyous of parks,
Lets enjoy us some Christmas, before it goes dark.
#FalconFace Santa, to Facebook he posts,
A face full of beard, down each hill he he coasts.
With high speeds he did feel, Montu and Kumba he rode
Cobra’s Curse and then Shiekra, full roller coaster mode.
The tigers and the hippos, meerkats and the sloth,
Elephants and the lions, around all he is not lost.
To the baby cheetah brothers, he finishes his rounds,
Of wishing a Merry Christmas, to all on the grounds.
Santa then looks up high, at Iron Gwazi’s dark frame,
When next year I come visit, it is you I will tame.
He then looks at us all, with a smile and a tear,
And gets in his sleigh, led by his rested reindeer
As Rudolph’s red nose, led the way into the night,,
You can hear a jolly cheer, while no longer in sight..
ALL CREATURES I LOVE, TWO AND FOUR LEGGED I HOLD DEAR
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
