Monsterjam Starts 2020 In Tampa

Monsterjam roars into Tampa to start the 2020 season with an all-star lineup that is sure to be remembered as the start to the finish in Orlando at World Finals. Jan 11th at 7:00pm marks the first of 2 visits to Raymond James Stadium and it will feature 16 skilled athletes and their trucks. Feb 1st will be the second visit of Monsterjam to Tampa and will feature 16 different drivers and their trucks.

Featured this year will be the three events to build up points for the overall champion as well as starting the domination to earn that automatic berth for World Finals 2020. The events are racing, 2-wheel challenge, and the ever popular freestyle. This is the only motor sports available where you will see 12,000 pound trucks doing feats unheard of until you see it with your own eyes.

Racing will feature 2019 Racing World Champion Jimmy Creten in Bounty Hunter. This 2 time world champion will look to start the year by defending his racing title to all that will challenge him. The one that will be there is Morgan Kane in Grave Digger, who just came shy of the semi-finals during the world finals and looking to lay that claim himself in 2020.

A newer challenge on the Monsterjam circuit that has been gaining popularity year after year is the 2-wheel skills challenge. Who doesn’t want to see these athletes run those trucks on two wheels, and  attempting stunts uunthinkable, while staying on two wheels. Ryan Anderson in Son-Uva Digger and Neil Elliot in Max-D will be the ones to beat in this challenge, as these two athletes have proven time after time …… they know how to handle their trucks vertically too.

The freestyle is what we all come to see, of course. That is where we see the trucks fly through the air, do back flips, and of course recover from those “wow factor” crashes. Headlining the field on Jan 11th will be Ryan Anderson in Son-Uva Digger, the Stadium Freestyler of the Year in 2018-19. He of course will be challenged by Heavy D in Brodozer. The Diesel Brothers have proven they are here to compete and have not disappointed a crowd yet in their skills. There will also be challenges by Cynthia Gauthier in Monster Mutt Dalmatian and Jimmy Cory Rummell in Megaladon.

Do not forget the Monster Jam Pit Party from 2:30pm-5:30pm  before the show. Where you have the chance to meet your drivers up and close. This is one of the few opportunities you will have an awesome chance to get the your photo taken with a driver while getting an autograph from them. There are a few I have yet to visit to get my 2019 Monster Jam program autographed up full. Want to get all of the drivers? Do not forget Monster Jam Pit Party: Early Access.
