8 Athletes To Tampa For Monster Jam Triple Threat
Monster Jam is coming to Amalie Arena for The Triple Threat Series it’s third year in a row and we will see some athletes we are used to seeing as well as some new ones. This will be a rundown on who will be there and all about them and you can decide who you are going to predict to win.
ALIEN INVASION
Bernard Lyght came into the Monster Jam scene in 2017. He has been competing in the Triple Threat Series all three years and always brings out a lot of enthusiasm the fans love. He is always exciting to watch.
BLUE THUNDER
Matt Cody joined the Monster Jam family in 2014 and recently showed he is a force to be reckoned with. In 2015 he won the award for Wheelie of the Year and during World Finals 2019 he became the Speedster Obstacle Course World Champion. Matt will be primed to compete and has a resume to challenge.
EARTHSHAKER
Tristan England came on the scene in 2016 and quickly elevated to be the one to beat. Earlier this year he won the Triple Threat Series East before heading into World Finals and Also won the 2019 award for Arena 2 Wheel Skills. During World Finals 2019 he almost won a 2nd Championship, but barely missed out on the 2 Wheels Skills to Tom Meents. He lost in the Racing in the 2nd round to eventual Racing World Champion Jimmy Creten. He is on fire and the competitors will always be watching his runs.
El Toro Loco
Mark “Costa” List brings El Toro Loco to Amalie Arena with a new driver this year. He is from Costa Rica and another young gun that came on started in 2015. He looks to bring the energy that has always been about El Toro Loco to Tampa and win it all.
Grave Digger
When you hear the word Grave Digger you think Dennis or Adam is looking to tear it up. Even though Krysten Anderson has only been competing since 2017, she is looking to become a legend herself in the halls of the Anderson family. A true fan favorite as evidenced by being chosen to the 2019 All-Star Challenge in Las Vegas this year. She finished 4rth in the Triple Threat Series East behind fellow competitors Tristan and Blake. She is looking to show why she is going to Vegas and bring the legend of the Grave Digger to Tampa.
Max-D
Blake Granger brings Max-D roaring into Tampa with his newly acquired World Championship at the 2019 World Finals in ATV Racing. He finished 3rd in the Triple Threat Series East behind Tristan and looking to win it all in the late half of 2019. Other than that, he is touring with wife Kayla Blood and looking to show he is the better driver this year. Will it be male or female power that wins the spousal championship of Monster Jam Triple Threat Series in Tampa.
Austin Minton changes trucks to the mean dawg Monster Mutt Rottweiler for The Triple Threat Series in Tampa. A new driver that joined the Monster Jam family in 2018. He may be new, but that is not mean a lack of experience. He crewed for 2019 Racing World Champion Jimmy Creten and Dawn Creten before they game him a chance behind the wheel. The rest is history in the making.
Kayla Blood makes the move to Soldier Fortune this year looking to continue being the inspiration for little girls and now the military people like myself. She won the 2019 Arena Donut Award and will definitely be showing Tampa why she won it. Not only is she out to win it all in Tampa, but also looking to show the girl power in beating fellow driver and husband Blake Granger.
There are a lot of young stars that are on their way to becoming legends in the Monster Jam world. Do not lose out on your chance to see them in August 24th for 2 shows in Tampa at Amalie Arena.
