Lego Movie Days at Legoland Florida
They came to Legoland Florida for the first time at the beginning of The Lego Movie Days and it proved to be #AWESOME.
Just a few months ago was the opening of Lego Movie World to a huge reception and popularity that is still running strong in the park. To follow up on it’s opening Legoland Florida has introduced Lego Movie Days that will be happening on 8 select dates starting July 13th running through 4 weekends.
Even without all of the fanfare and special activities, Lego Movie World still has the magic of opening day thriving to this day and I am sure many years to come.
If you do not have an annual pass, you may need the sorting hat to help you decide what special activities to do throughout the day. Wait, and there are rides too!!!! It is a lot to do in one day. Even an experienced guide like me was not able to take the kids through everything in this one visit, and they are anxiously awaiting the next. The hat decided rides for him and water for her, but other activities include:
-A Glitter and Glow Dance Party where kids of ALL ages can show off their best dance moves.
-Help build a Lego Mosaic designed just for Lego Movie Days brick by brick.
-Find Emmit’s Friends in a scavenger hunt in Lego Movie World.
-Search for Hearts and Stars in another scavenger hunt in Miniland USA.
-Enjoy a Disco Drop Doughnut, Choco Dip Banana “Slip”, Could Cuckoo Land Ice Cream Swirl.
-Caramel Banana Dessert Pizza at the pizza buffet (This was delicious .. I had my money’s worth)
With all of the #Awesome rides and shows and the water park, this is just special stuff in addition to the rest of the park. Special activities that makes it worth a trip with the kids to enjoy. The highlight of the visit will be meeting …. “Rex Dangervest” … the alter-ego of Emmit. This is a must. Do not let the evil grin scare ya though, for Lucy was right next door to keep Rex in check as you pose for your photos with them. You can also have your photo turned into a Lego puzzle, how cool is that.
Legoland Florida is the premiere park designed for children and you will have a good time with kids of all ages visiting. I highly recommend taking advantage of the Lego Movie Days and introduce yourself to the world of Legos, and dare I say …. Get addicted to keep coming back (#Awesome Pass there).
