The heat of the Florida Summer brings about a lot of things to the average Floridian. Mainly, GET ME IN THE AIR CONDITIONING!!!!. Knowing that it is impossible to change the daily 90 degree temperature, Busch Gardens does one thing better in the summer to allow us Florida people to enjoy the theme parks. Stay open later!!!  SUMMER NIGHTS has returned to Busch Gardens in 2018 and starts today.

When the sun goes down, the night comes alive at Busch Gardens Tampa. This year the party starts even earlier as Summer Nights starts today for Memorial Day weekend. The event promises to bring endless energy, excitement, and the world class coasters lighting up the night as the park is open for extended hours.

This year Summer Nights brings 3 Party Zones to the park.

New this year is the Backyard BBQ which will be taking over the Bird Gardens. Live, local music will be featured and classic American Fare with a twist will be on the menu. Examples of this fare include chicken waffle sandwich with blackberry pepper jelly, St. Louis ribs with Cherry Coke BBQ Sauce and smoked beef brisket sliders with Jack Daniels and Coke BBQ sauce peach slaw. Can also drink old fashioned lemonade, bourbon cream root beer, and special “dreamsicle floatinis.”

Cheetah Hunt Plaza transforms into the returning Fiesta Festa party zone. This also features live entertainment and a flavor-packed menu. The tastes include steak chimichurri with yucca fries, beef emanadas and tostones. There will also be Tequila and Maragarita bars for the brave and refined, as well as other drinks such as Moscow Mule, frozen sangria, and wine selections.

The final party zone takes place in Stanleyville and is the Vibin Village. Here unique creations is featured such as hummus topped with curry-roasted cauliflower and pita chips, chilled shrimp with watermelon and tamarind glaze, and special funnel cake with strawberry and kiwi sauces. There will also be plenty or beer selections.

Do not forget that #BeerIsBack where you can get your two complimentary samples at the Garden Gate Cafe each day you visit the park. Also, join the Brew Club and get 5$ beers that you can drink out of your very own mug.

Summer Nights looks to be a fun way to cool off from the heat of the day and what better way to cool off then riding one of their many roller coasters or diving face down on Falcon’s Fury.
