Disney Enchants the Weekend on Ice

March 24-26 Tampa had Disney visit Amalie Arena with The Worlds of Enchantment. I went on Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised as to how much I enjoyed the evening. It all starts with the introductions of Mickey and the Gang as and they present 4 magical Disney Tales for us to relive through the evening. The enchanted tales brought to us that evening were Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen. It is basically an abbreviated version of the movies which includes the songs that all of the children and grownups love to sing.

I found myself singing along with Andy as he started into “You’ve Got A Friend In Me.” That was not all, though, I could see all of the boys cheering on Woody and Lightning McQueen from Toy Story and Cars. Of course, the highlight of the evening is when Frozen is brought onto the ice and the little princesses in the audience were alight with glee seeing Anna and Elsa singing their adventurous story. It was a delightful evening that the children, and the children within the adult, can enjoy together for 2 1/2 hours. The magic even goes through your electronic device as I saw friends of mine singing “Let It Snow” on snapchat just minutes after it was done on the ice.

Feld Entertainment does not fail with their ongoing productions of Disney on Ice and I hope it is something that will keep coming for years to come. It is an affordable way for a lot of children to see those princesses, heroes, and villains that they may never get a chance to see otherwise. Disney on Ice has the skating, acting, and story perfected. It is highly recommended to enjoy with your children for this year and all of the years to come.

If you did miss the Tampa shows, remember that Disney On Ice will be throughout Florida through the middle of May with their next stop in Ft Myers. Also, as with all productions brought to you by Feld Entertainment, it is brought to you with the children in mind. Remember that always!!!!! To learn more about Disney on Ice, visit DisneyOnIce.com.
