MonsterJam, Part 2 This Weekend
Like every year, MonsterJam returns to Raymond James Stadium with 16 all new trucks and drivers. The excitement of these high flying pieces of machinery looks to amaze us again on Saturday evening. The trucks that will be present this February are once again lots of fan favorites and new ones that will soon to be fan favorites.
The event will feature, of course, Grave Digger driven by Carl Van horn. What event if complete without an Anderson driving, though? We do get that with Ryan Anderson in Son-Ova Digger. Local favorite Jimmy Creten will be bringing Bounty Hunter into the stadium and The Queen of Carnage herself, Madusa will be here. Will Madusa attempt that back flip successfully this year and take home the crown? Or will Monster Mutt Rottweiler, driven by Rod Schmidt do the damage and bring one home for the dogs?
Also be sure to see newcomers Soldier Fortune Black Ops driven by Tony Ochs. Alien Invasion with Chad Tingler will be invading the stadium to thrill us. The truck I am most looking forward too will be the green Dragon truck driven by Scott Liddycoat. The classic and the new is sure to make this event one to remember in the AMSOIL series presented by Feld Entertainment.
Just like previously, there will be a Party in the Pits from 1:30-5:00 pm where you can get up close to your favorite truck, get a picture, and even meat your favorite driver also. These drivers love their fans and look forward to meeting everyone that shows up to say hi. Tickets for MonsterJam start as low as $16 and can be purchased at ticketmaster. Pit passes to the party is an additional $10. Select Ford dealerships do have free pit passes if you stop in and get them prior to the event though.
