A Sarasota Hooters Christmas Tale of 2015
A SARASOTA CHRISTMAS TALE OF 2015
Twas’ the night before Christmas, in a dead calm air,
Not a patron was stirring, for the Yuletide was near.
It was silent and empty, across the darkened lot to park,
Looking up to the heavens, to hear an Angel go “Hark!”
Followed by laughter, and the light draws near.
Now a jingling was heard, it seemed a joyous affair,
And it came ever nearer, led by many reindeer.
There was a glistening in its rays, as if a snowfall this night.
The crowd did draw nearer, a jovial party it was,
They turned toward Hooters, led by the man himself Claus.
A little old man, dressed fully in red and white,
With a belt black as coal, and smoking a corn cob pipe.
He gazed upon the entrance, and a twinkle gleamed in his eye,
And waved in his entourage, as he shouted to the skies.
“Hey Kailee! Hi Taylor! Hi Caitlyn and Desi,
Oh Rhiannon! And Chloe! And Ariel and Maddie!
“It is you we came to see, as we pack the place tight,
To make your Christmas joyous, as we drink on through the night.”
Not a chair was left empty, as Kaylee looked ‘bout the room,
As the festivities were starting, as was an old Christmas tune.
Nicolle has seen this before, for 10 years it now seems,
And led the charge of service, as she mixed up some drinks.
There were wings and fries flying, to the tables en masse,
Whether hot, mild, or 911, they just never seemed to last.
Orders and more orders, like the Super Bowl it was,
And Santa was just smiling, as he watched all the fuss.
Josh looked at the scene, from Keri he has heard,
Christmas Eve at Hooters; all come to quench their thirst.
The taps did run empty, with the kitchen feeding the troops,
And the party continued on, with good cheers and some booze.
Calendar sales were starting, as Emily now took note,
And black sharpies were signing, as the girls did joke.
Kendall signed with vigor, as did Kristin and Sam,
And everyone was happy, you could count them like lambs.
Keara looked at Santa, a big ole smile on her face,
And St. Nick looked at her, as he looked about the place.
“I see the mommies here, working hard for their kids,
Well your tree will be full, as I fulfill every wish.”
The bar starts to empty, and Mindy says goodbye.
Alexis cleaned her tables, for the night treated her right.
The holidays at Hooters, as strange as it seems,
Is a place to come party, with Santa and his team.
Santa walked to the door, to his reindeer he goes,
He turned back to the entrance, and looked up from his toes.
“I love you all of you girls, coming here feels just right.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO HOOTERS;
ENJOY THIS FESTIVE NIGHT!!
