Legoland Florida goes LegoChristmas
Legoland Florida is always known for bringing a unique twist on the holidays and Christmas done LEGO style is no different. Christmas Bricktacular ends 2018 in true LEGO style with a fun holiday celebration.
Christmas Bricktacular brings many things for the kids to enjoy this December. Santa’s Helper Scavenger Hunt is a lot of fun and really let’s the kids examine Miniland USA, an area that usually finds the adults enjoying more. LEGO Santa has come to town and his elves are spying to see who is naughty and nice. The elves have been spotted throughout Miniland. It is up to you to see what the elves have been up to. Also, Santa is making appearances throughout Miniland too.
Children can also help build a Mosaic to celebrate the holidays around the world. They can also help build a 19 foot LEGO Christmas Tree with Lego ornaments (until it is completed). Is your child competition minded? How about they build whatever they can think of, that is holiday inspired, for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack. Did your child get his/her letter off to Santa yet? Do not fear, for Christmas Bricktacular has it’s own mailbox with express delivery to the North Pole. Your child can even write their letter on Dec. 24th with assurances it will reach Santa in time.
Like the shows, Legoland’s Christmas Bricktacular has a special holiday show called Holly Jolly Jubilee. After a year of tinkering in the workshop, the elves are ready to send Santa on his way. Join the festive elves as they rock around the Christmas Tree at the annual “Holly Jolly Jubilee.” This musical and live interactive show promises to have the whole family in tinsels. Of course the Fun Town 4D Theater is still in operation with it’s 4D animated films. See all three throughout the day.
Make sure you get your best photos taken in the snow globe near the entrance. There is also Santa and his sleigh, with a couple of reindeer, awaiting you to hop in for the best photo south of the North Pole. Finally, do not miss your chance to see the LEGO man himself, but none other than LEGO Santa for that personal Christmas memory from Legoland Florida. There are also other classic photo ops throughout Legoland Florida such as characters in LEGO Miniland Star Wars and LEGO Ninjago.
Food and drink is aplenty in Legoland Florida and there is nothing like the apple fries whenever you visit. Take the Christmas spin on those apple fries with Holiday Spiced Granny Fries with Pumpkin Spiced Blondie A La Mode. You will also find Holiday-Inspired Rice Krispy Treats, Yuletide Hot Chocolate, Cheerful Churros, Holiday-Dipped Cones, and Pumpkin Flavor Burst Ice Cream, Enjoy your food during the LEGO Christmas Tree Spectacular near the front of the park. This 30 foot LEGO Christmas tree comes to life with dazzling lights and music to celebrate the holiday season.
Legoland Florida’s Christmas Bricktacular is worth taking your child to and celebrate Christmas LEGO in LEGO fashion. I endorse it big time because it brought a different feel to the park that the children love. It also keeps what works in the park in place so that the children has the best of both worlds. Be warned, you will probably need more than 1 day to see everything, consider their reasonable annual passes if you live close enough to take advantage.
