Christmastown At Busch Gardens
December is here and Christmastown has returned to Busch Gardens Tampa for select nights. Not only do all of the classic shows, lights, and food return this year to Tampa, but a lot of new holiday cheer arrives to help you celebrate this Christmas year,
Christmastown has always been known for the lights, lights, and more lights. The lights do return with specialty areas such as the lavender glow of Christmas lights in Stanleyville and the twinkling pink lights in Flamingo Way. The Poinsettia Parkway blooms with hundreds of traditional flowers. NEW this year is the Congo-Stanleyville walkway. The arched lights over this connecting path is the sight to see this year at Christmastown.
Of course Rudolph and Santa returns to Christmastown for the 2018 season. In Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland you will be able to get your photos with Rudolph and Clarice, Sam the Snowman, Yukon Cornelius, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. Then Santa’s House is open this year to the young and the old. Make sure you stop by and get a tour of the house by those mischievous elves and meet Mrs. Claus and have one of her delicious chocolate chip cookies. You will also get to see the big man himself, and get a awesome picture to be treasured for the years to come. Oh, the elves do take “elfies” with you if you ask.
Christmas on Ice returns as you can watch the world class skaters perform to your favorite tunes on ice. In the Stanleyville Theater you can listen to some contemporary Christian gospel in a holiday celebration in Christmas From the Heart. The young ones can also get into the holiday spirit with Elmo, Rosita, and The Cookie Monster in Sesame Street Land with Elmo’s Christmas Wish. Do not forget the Christmastown band as the perform at the Zagora Cafe.
Busch Gardens does Christmas correct again for 2018 and it is something I highly recommend to visit and enjoy with the entire family. Make sure you do so before the snow melts.
Christmas town has been extended through Jan 6th Busch Gardens to enable everyone to have a chance to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience. Christmastown also offers the opportunity to dine with Santa and guided holiday tours for an upgrade.
Be sure to join in the conversation about @BuschGardens with the tags #Christmastown on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts as you enjoy the holiday evening. As well as getting announcements and updates straight from the park.
