Howloscream Unearthed

Howloscream Has Been Unearthed

Howloscream 2015 looks to build upon it previous versions and has succeeded. There are the houses, the scareactors in the paths, Fiends, Fright Feast, roller coasters, and Falcon’s Fury. Upon breaking ground they unearth an evil unknown and now we have Unearthed.

I highly recommend and took part of the add-on Fright Feast. Not only is it a great buffet to feast on, you also get a exclusive preview of the Fiends show. The best part is, Exclusive access to the haunted houses for 30 minutes and fast pass access for another hour after that. I give a review of 1 SKULL (child friendly) to 5 SKULLS (extremely scary) and do so again this year.

FRIGHT FEAST (2 SKULLS)

It gets 2 versus 1 because I would not recommend this show for a child because of it’s adult themes. It is not really scary, but very entertaining. The best part of it this year is the writer’s strayed from the traditional script we get each year and see something totally different. Do not worry, you will still see your naughty nurses, the singing of the time warp, and Igor’s dirty mind. You will not see it in a MUST SEE

predictive manner this year.

UNEARTHED: SCARLETT’S REVENGE (3 SKULLS)

This is the house that the attraction is themed for. What it makes up for in scare factor it totally makes up in visual impressiveness. I really liked that is was built into the old Gwazi roller coaster and underneath. It really seemed to work doing that. It really looks like the commercials. WORTH SEEING FOR THE VISUAL IMPACT

ZOMBIE CONTAINMENT UNIT (2 SKULLS)

This was brought back from last year and moved to a new location. I actually like this newer location than the older one. Not really scary, but fun. Not my cup of tea to wait in a long line for, but if you like shooting stuff, you will really like this house. HIT THIS HOUSE FIRST IF PLANNING TO GO THROUGH

DEAD FALL (4 SKULLS)

This was a debut house last year that was brought back. It is still awesome, both visually and with the placed scares. Time this visit when you are going to ride Shiekra. It is one I would wait in line for and recommend. MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH.

DEATH WATER BAYOU (4 SKULLS)

I really think this location is gold when it comes to haunted houses. I loved Nightshade Toy Factory in it’s many years here and I am loving Death Water Bayou in it’s stay. I totally love this house. It has unique scares and always manages to give me one jump (I normally do not jump). HIGHLY RECOMMEND

THE BASEMENT (2 SKULLS)

This is a house that I keep praying will become better year after year, and verily am disappointed. I love the house, I love the visual, I love everything….except……it is not really scary. The great thing is, usually not a huge line and I would visit it because it is a fun walk, just not a scary walk. GO THROUGH IF NOT A  LINE

CIRCUS OF SUPERSTITION: THE LAST LAUGH (3 SKULLS)

This will either be liked or not liked. I do love the 3D effects and I love walking through here. I like to refer to it as a demented Simpons cartoon made to scare you. Oh, there are clowns, a lot of clowns. I recommend because I think the 3D is great. MUST SEE IF YOU LIEK 3D

ZOMBIE MORTUARY (3 SKULLS) (4 if a first time through it ever)

I think this is the oldest house left in the howloscream lineup. I really like this one even though ir=t really does not change much. SURPRISE!!!  They made some changes in this house so that it is not too predictable. I like it, but do admit, should be ready for a new change next year and look forward to what master ideas come up for this house (I have one    hint hint). MUST SEE IF NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE, OTHERWISE ONLY IF LINE IS SHORT

SCARESPOTS (3 SKULLS)

I really was not able to tell if there were roaming mobs or not from the night I visited, but the few scare zones I went through did not do much for me. Now I could be insensitive to them to giving my review on other people’s reactions

Overall, Howloscream is a value and recommended. I do plan on visiting again myself. Save by ordering your tickets early online. For more information you can visit Howloscreams Website or call Busch Gardens at 1-888-800-5447.
