Treehoppers Coming to Tampa Bay

TreeHoppers, an ariel adventure park, will be here late August. What is Treehoppers you ask?  well ……. Treehoppers is :

“A new aerial/adventure park which hosts eight unique courses and over 100 aerial elements for adults and children ages five and up. It’s the perfect activity for the entire family. Leisure fun seekers to expert climbers can venture through a variety of zip lines, rope bridges and aerial climbing features. TreeHoppers is an ideal attraction for birthday parties and corporate events. TreeHoppers is located in Dade City, Florida just north of Tampa.”

What does this mean for us? We get to do some zip lines, cross rope bridges, climb up a tree, and have a lot of fun doing it. Indiana-based White River Zip Lines purchased the 60 acre on March 2ns and has been developing the land since then for this upcoming attraction. It is targeted to be a family attraction that can entertain children 5 and up, a leisure climber wanting to enjoy the scenery, or a challenge for the expert. It is also the perfect place for birthday party or corporate event.

Already having a similar attraction in Indianapolis, CEO Benjamin Nagengast of TreeHoppers says “Our team carefully and thoughtfully selected Tampa Bay for our newest attraction and we can’t wait to introduce TreeHoppers to the community. There is nothing like it anywhere in Florida.”  This ariel park concept was brought from Switzerland to the United States about 6 years ago and gaining popularity every day.

TreeHoppers is located at 27839 Saint Joe Road Dade City, FL, which is only 35 minutes north of Tampa. It will be open all year round 7 days a week. The opening date is still not set in stone, but it is planned to be open by the end of August. For more information go to TreeHoppers. TreeHoppers can also be followed on facebook.
